Marina - Dhawa Ouidah Hotel & Spa - Benin
Project: Marina - Dhawa Ouidah Hotel & Spa at  Port du Non Retour, Benin
This is a Government of Benin flagship project under auspices of ANPT the government Tourism Development Department
​The project is for a 134 room hotel which is part of a larger memorial complex in memory of the slaves that were taken from the shores of Benin at the Gate of no Return. The project has been designed by the architectural firm Eremco from Paris with Interior Design by CHIL/B+H (Canada, Singapore & Hong Kong).
  • Contracted for advisory service by ANPT the Government Tourism Development Department after initial design was completed. 
  • Project re-design and ongoing design review with Banyan Tree and interior designers CHIL. 
  • Management Corporation selection Banyan Tree Resorts and Hotels (Dhawa division).Management contract and technical contract negotiation with the management corporation
  • Design review and development in association with the architects, Eremco and Banyan Tree Resorts and Hotels (Dhawa division).
  • Overall project coordination and project management until opening of resort.
